The winner of the Freebooter's Fate Booty is....

...Elbrun!!! Yeah that's his avatar image thingy at the top of the page in case any of you were wandering. While I'm pleased that Elbrun has won the signed copy of the Freebooter's Fate rulebook, he does continue my incredible streak of picking winners from distant lands. What the hell is wrong with picking a winner from Redditch or Shrewsbury... hell I'd settle for Crewe right about now. Elbrun apparently hails from the good ol' U S of A, and in particular Springfield Illinois. So that will be yet another hefty shipping fee yet again, d'oh! Any way Elbrun if you email me at:

TheFronlineGamerBlog@Gmail.com

I'll sort out sending your prize to you. I am however glad Elbrun has picked up a prize as he is a name I remember from way back when I first started writing this here Blog, so it's nice someone from the beginning has won something, unlike all these Johnny come lately Aussies and Kiwi's!!! Love you all really guys, I'm just jealous of your BBQ abilities really. It's customary around these parts to also pimp the winners Blog, in the case of Elbrun that means pimping his Painting Sanctuary Blog. Erm... it kinda is what it sounds like, a Blog about painting. Although I do have to chastise him a bit because his updates have become a little more 'sporadic' of late, nevertheless their are some good articles in his back catalogue... so... erm... yeah, consider your Blog pimped sir.

Proof of the Werner Klocke signed rulebook!!!

Also for those of you emailing me about the Vore giveaway, I am indeed aware that I passed the 700 follower mark at some point during Tuesday. I'm also aware I'm more than likely at this rate to pass the 750 follower mark that would precipitate the Dragon Forge Designs $100 giveaway too. However, the Sedition Wars giveaway has obviously got a lot of attention, and has had a hell of a lot of entrants and I'm more than aware that my Blog has become a bit of a prize giveaway only Blog over the past few weeks. While that's cool for some of you, I'd like to give myself a bit of breathing space to actually write some articles and do some hobby if you don't mind. So I'm going to put the prize draw up for the Vore on Friday 8th June. So check back then if all you are after is free swag. In the meantime I have a review of Ax Factions Victorian Darling Kraken Hunter to finish off, and the Heavy Gear Blitz Field Manual to review. Peace out!

    1. I've tried putting out my reviews and normal articles, but I've been focusing on these competitions and also a little bit too much on these Kickstarter / Indiegogo articles. So it'll be good to try and get back to writing my normal stuff. Plus I have some different sort of things I want to start writing about.

  2. Congrats to Elbrun!

Also am looking forward to seeing when you get back to "business as usual" for articles..

On the plus side.. I Told You So! Even if it is through bribery, you are going to get to the 1000 mark in no time, and then its just a matter of drawing those 1000+ followers in to continue reading, and expanding the hobby from the nexus that is Frontline Gamer..

    1. Meh, we'll see if I get to 1000 followers or not. Although I will admit that the speed I've managed to get to 712 with is quite shocking. I really thought that target might take until Christmas time you know... and no I'm not making that up at all. But hey, if I can get all of these followers regularly reading my stuff perhaps that 1 million hits target won't be such a struggle... nah... that's still going to be a struggle going on current figures!!!

    1. Does that mean a comment went missing? Because I seem to have received a lot of complaint emails about that over the past week. If so could you let me know?

  5. Thanks for all the congrats, and yeah... I totally admit my blogging has been beyond sporadic lately. Massive financial crisis has had me out and about trying to find a new source of income. Short version of the last month-ish... having to drop out of university (33 credit hours short of a bachelors degree in business admin), having all the school loans slam into my like a train, and busting my hump trying to find at least one job (probably more like 2-3). So winning something is definitely bringing a smile to my face right now (it's a nice upswing in my luck lately).

I might not comment a lot on your blog, but I do read it fairly regularly (especially since getting started in Infinity a few months back).

    1. Well I'm doubly glad I could bring a bit of free swag cheer into your life then. Sounds like you're going through a rough patch buddy. Keep you chin up and don't let the bastard beat you down. Don't ever let them see you beat and for the love of God keep on smiling even if you feel like shit. The moment you think you've lost you have. Life can be cruel sometime my good man, but it makes those good times worth living. :)
