Some of my own Personal collection. |
OK right, I've definitely dropped the ball on this one. I figured rather stupidly that it'd take a couple of weeks, maybe months to get anywhere near 550 followers. It's taken precisely 6 days and I'm already half way to 575 followers, which will trigger another prize draw. I think I sold myself short... bugger! Any way a deal is a deal, so I guess it time to cough the third prize draw up now isn't it? All these prize draws are playing bloody havoc with my scheduling though! Any way the third prize was donated by those lovely chaps at Sarissa Precision, and is £40's worth of store credit for you to spend on whatever scenery etc. you want from these MDF laser cutting wizards. Here are a list of reviews of their product on this here Blog:
Oldwest Jailhouse
Oldwest Shack
Oldwest Church / School
Oldwest Hotel
Oldwest Livery Stables
System ∞ Habitation Pod Explorer
System ∞ Habitation Pod Settler
System ∞ Habitation Pod Family
System ∞ Shipping Containers
System ∞ Silo
System ∞ Warehouse
System ∞ Street Lighting
System ∞ Street Canopy
System ∞ Gantry System
As you can see I've reviewed a fair bit of their product, and I've always been happy with what they've provided. I think it's fair to say I'm a bit of a fan of their System ∞ range of scenery. It's fantastic for building Infinity tables quickly and effectively, which quite frankly is what you need if you want to play the game properly on tactically interesting boards, with a fair amount of character. I also love their Old West set of buildings for playing games of Malifaux, and I suppose Black Water Gulch if I ever get round to playing that particular slice of cowboy action. They also do other products though including precision cut movement trays and bases and a few token sets for games like Gruntz. So what do you need to do to enter this competition then:
- Be a public follower of this Blog.
- Place a comment in the comments section below indicating you want some free stuff. Who doesn't want free stuff?
- Do so by Saturday the 12:00 PM 2nd June 2012. Because that's when I'll be drawing the winner.
- I throw in an extra entrance for somebody who give these competitions a shout out either via Twitter account or a Blog post, maximum of two entrances per person.
So there you go, that's how you get your grubby little paws on more of my free birthday swag. I have the distinct feeling I should have set these targets significantly higher than I bloody well did. Oh well I'll remember for next year! So I guess it's time to tell you all what you get if I make it to 575 followers... I'll turn the sarcasm off now! Well it's another cool little prize actually, it's a Werner Klocke signed copy of the Freebooter's Fate rulebook. Freebooter's Fate is yet another game I'm quite smitten with, and one my friends find bags of fun to play too, which is lucky because I really do like playing it! Everyone needs a good solid lighthearted fun game to play in their gaming repertoire, and right now this is mine. But, just because it's fun it doesn't mean it's not tactical, because it is! Any way I'm sure I'll be posting the competition for this up some time soon... but... given I'm currently running three sodding prize draws at once I'll hold off on putting this one up until I've managed to find a winner for the Heavy Gear Blitz PDFs, I hope you guys don't mind, but my macho masculine brain is really struggling with all this multitasking... OK, perhaps it's not a macho masculine brain, but I do have a brain last time I checked, even if it is defective. good luck and peace out!
Count me in on this one please...cause I want FREE stuff.
