500 Followers, time for a Prize draw!


 


Right, at some point during last night I managed to cruise up to and past the 500 followers mark, and that triggers my Heavy Gear Blitz PDF rulebook giveaway. It's happened a little bit quicker than I thought it would, and I'm currently only 19 Followers away from the next prize. The rules are dead simple:


  1. You must be a public follower of this Blog, if you're not a public follower I have no way of verifying if you follow the Blog or not.
  2. You have to leave a comment in the comment section below indicating you would like to be entered into the prize draw. Nothing to big, a simple yes will do.
  3. You also need to like Dream Pod 9's Facebook page, After I've picked a winner I'll will be contacting you and then giving your details to John Nyguyen at Dream Pod 9, who will check that you have liked their Facebook page... if all is good he'll give you your prize!!!
  4. I will be drawing a name from the comments list on Tuesday 29th of May 2012 at 12:00 PM GMT.

It really is that simple. I don't need you to write any short stories or paint any miniatures, just indicate you'd like to win the prize, while being a follower of my Blog, and like Dream Pod 9's Facebook page. If you're interested in winning the free PDF rules, you really ought to be checking out their Facebook page for news anyway. I'm closing in on the 525 follower mark too, which would trigger the following prize giveaway, A Bushido Prefecture of Ryu Starter Set and Tenshi, the Seshin Na Goal form Bushido the Game, pictures below:

Hiro Takashi, badass Samurai at your service.

Jin, Ashigaru.

Tenshi, the Seshin Na Goal, one of their best miniatures, an really nice piece.


Obviously all miniatures come supplied unpainted, otherwise what would be the point? I guess I'll decide what to do when the Blog reaches that particular milestone... thing is I might not have thought this through incredibly well, I could end up trying to run multiple competitions at the same time. I'm a man, we don't do multitasking. Any way good luck and Peace out!

    I'd very much like to win the PDF, but, I'm not going to be eligible as I have an aversion to MyTwitFace Plus and other such social networking sites; call me old fashioned but handing over cold, hard cash to a company in exchange for their product was always a pretty good indication that I approved of them rather than virtually telling them and everyone else that I like them.

      Yeah, I won't be in the competition for the same reason. No facebook for me. Oh well. I do have a Google+ account I never use. Maybe one of the future drawings won't require a facebook profile.

      Sadly it is a ore-requisite placed on the competition by Dream Pod 9 themselves. None of the other competitions I'll be drawing will have Facebook subscription as a rule. Sorry guys.

      That makes two of us. I once had a 50/50 chance in a prize draw for some mini's... I lost to someone who never played a game before in their life!!! They bloody sold them as well straight afterwards to someone else. I couldn't buy them at the time because I was a poor struggling student. Oh well.
