A plea for help from you lot

Right, it's not that often I've asked you lot to give me some help, however I'm asking for it off of some of you now. I have been mulling a few ideas around in my head few a few months now for a series of articles initially inspired by a Zygmunt Bauman quite. However, there is a pretty serious snag... I'm British! Normally that wouldn't matter too much of a hassle, but right now for my plans it does pose a slight snag. I would be really grateful if I could hear off of my:

  • French readers
  • Australian readers
  • New Zealand readers
  • German readers
  • Latin American readers
  • North American readers (USA & Canada)
  • Italian readers
  • Spanish readers

I'm looking to do a series of articles and I need your input. I need you to talk to me and tell me what you love, loathe and hate about hobbying in your neck of the woods. I don't just want to hear from gamers though, if you own shops, if you run a painting service or even a miniatures company I'd love to hear from you all. Tell me like it is, and I'll try and get some answers from industry insiders if I can. If you fancy giving me a helping hand with this project and series of articles then I'd love to hear from you, so could I asked that you please email me at:

TheFrontlineGamerBlog@Gmail.com

Thanks in advance, any help would be very much appreciated. Peace out!

  3. You asked for input from readers outside your country so that makes me want to help, but you put up a flag for the U.N. and as an American that makes me want to be as difficult as possible, or request that you put me in charge of the "Help Coalition". lol

    1. With all due respect had the US and UK listened to the United Nations we'd both not currently be entangled in two extremely costly conflicts (both monetarily, collaterally and more importantly in casualties) that seemingly have no end. You know what, sometimes the rest of the world is right you know. :P

  4. Hmmm what about South African readers? Would you care to hear from us or is it not in your scope?

    1. Hi Troy,

I will be happy to talk about South Africa in an article... but right now I need to get the first few of them done first, and see if people like them to be honest with you. There's no point me writing stuff people simply don't like. However, by all means contact me to let me know you're willing to chat.

      Thanks

    2. Hi there,

I presume a Belgian contribution (or rather, asking if you want a Belgian contribution) will get a very similar response?

    3. I'd be happy to hear from you Geijhan. I'm a little swamped right now though under the weight of responses so I'm slowly going through it all and trying to sift out all of the pertinent information and get ready to respond with follow up requests to the kind souls who have offered their help so far. I'm hopeful of getting started on the project next week sometime. So by all means get in touch... it's just it might take me a while to respond. Please don't think I'm being rude.

    1. Thanks I will start responding to people as soon as I get on top of everything. The response has been better than I thought it would be.
